Managing Your Datasets

Preview, rename, review data quality, remove duplicate rows and delete datasets.

The My Datasets page lists every dataset in your account with its record count, column count, file type and upload date. You can store up to 50 datasets.

Preview and sort

Open a dataset to see its records in a table. Select a column header to sort; missing values are always placed last.

Data quality panel

  • Total records and complete records (rows with no empty cells)
  • Missing values per column
  • Duplicate rows — rows identical to an earlier row in every column
  • Invalid values — values that do not match the column type, with examples
  • Type distribution — how many columns are numeric, date, boolean, categorical or text
  • Columns needing attention — empty columns, columns with many missing or invalid values, and constant columns

Remove duplicate rows

Use Remove duplicates to create a new dataset without exact duplicate rows. The original dataset is kept unchanged, so you can compare results.

Rename or delete

  • Rename a dataset at any time; saved history entries and reports keep the name used at the time.
  • Deleting a dataset permanently removes its stored records. Saved reports remain, because they contain a frozen copy of their results. To remove everything at once, use Settings → Delete all datasets.
